You Are My Sunshine

John Stanley, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist in the group, was one of the most underrated singers in the Montreal area.  It was possibly because he delivered great performances routinely, night after night and could sing professionally and with feeling in any genre. So for John to sing in "top form" was normal and everyone just expected it.

Listen to the contrast in his treatment of "You are My Sunshiune", and his soulful rendition  of Gershwin's "Summertime".
